Breast Enlargement
Fuller, more flattering breasts are possible with implants for breast enhancement. Breast augmentation with implants gives patients a beautiful breast contour and natural, comfortable results. Dr. Khattab performs transaxillary (under the arm), periareolar (around the areola) and inframammary (under the breast) breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammaplasty, with the most advanced methods available today. The implants themselves may be placed above (subglandular) or below (submuscular) the muscle. He offers both saline implants (filled with a salt water solution) and silicone gel implants.
All of these choices—where the incision is placed, where the implants are placed, the type and size and shape of the implants—have their advantages and disadvantages. During your breast augmentation consultation, Dr. Khattab will discuss the various options with you and help you decide which is the best choice to achieve your individual goals for breast enlargement. Whichever you choose, the aim of breast augmentation is to achieve a naturally enhanced and contoured appearance with soft texture that is safe and long-lasting.

Breast Reduction
Overly large breasts can cause pain and discomfort, can limit physical activities and can make finding properly fitting clothing difficult. However, you no longer have to suffer with large, uncomfortable breasts. That's because Dr. Khattab offers reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) procedures that can provide outstanding aesthetic results. Breast reduction surgery removes excess breast tissue, tightens skin, and repositions the nipple to a higher, more natural location on the new, smaller breast. After surgery, patients enjoy freedom from the symptoms of their heavy breasts. Scars are around the areola and underneath the breast.

Breast Lift
A breast lift, or mastopexy, is performed to return youthful shape and lift to breasts that have sagged as a result of weight loss, pregnancy, loss of the skin’s natural elasticity or simply the effects of aging and gravity. Breast lift with Dr. Khattab can correct sagging breasts, low nipples, excess skin for the amount of breast tissue, and lack of breast tissue. The procedure can also reduce areolar size (the dark skin surrounding the nipple).
In a breast lift, Dr. Khattab lifts the breast tissue and nipple into a more natural and youthful position. He removes any excess skin, and, if the patient desires, he can also place breast implants beneath the muscle to augment breast size and enhance their shape. The scar is anchor-shaped: around the areola, down the underside of the breast and across the crescent-shaped lower crease of the breast. After surgery, patients enjoy full, firm breasts that no longer sag or appear "empty."

Gynecomastia
Enlarged male breasts (gynecomastia) affects nearly 40-60% of men, often with no known cause. This condition can be highly embarrassing as well as physically uncomfortable.
Men who feel self-conscious about enlarged breasts may seek breast reduction surgery. The procedure removes fat and/or glandular tissue from the breasts, and in some cases excess skin as well. The result is a flatter, firmer chest.

Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction restores a natural, symmetrical appearance to the breast, maintains body proportion, allows clothes to fit better, and most important of all, boosts self-confidence for women who have lost one or both breasts to mastectomy or who lack breasts due to a congenital or developmental abnormality.
