A 19-year-old male patient had hypertrophy of the breasts during teenage adolescence. He intentionally gained weight to mask the hypertrophic breasts which led to increased prominence of his fatty portion of the breasts. He was offered to have the breast tissue removed surgically and have liposuction on the sides to assist him in contouring his chest to a more cosmetically pleasing outcome. However, he declined the liposuction and so the fullness in the lateral chest is still present after removal of the breast masses. He can opt for the liposuction at any later time without difficulty.
